Kirsten's Koi
Kirsten was inspired by the painting of "Michelle's Koi" and by the batik sarong with fish on it. Kirsten is also a quilter. Laurel combined these elements to create a final piece of "Kirsten's Koi."

The quilting element is represented by repeating color panels like the complimentary pieces of fabric in a quilt. |

The koi swim in a similar pattern to "Michelle's Koi"; however, the fish have been abstracted to a more basic element like that of batik. |

The three panels repeat this pattern but explore it in different color schemes. |
