| The animals are all rendered realistically with soulful eyes so they seem ready to speak at any moment. Reese will sometimes wake up and start speaking to the animals by noting their names and the sounds they make. | |||||||

To keep it light hearted for a children's room, the background is rendering in whimsical cartoon. By providing this balance between cartoon and realism, the mural will last well into elementary school. | |||||
