Alpha Omicron Pi

Alpha Omicron Pi is an international women's fraternity which has life long friendship as a central tenet. Laurel has donated her artwork for card images to help raise money for the organization. In addition, she has donated her time to construct a web site for the San Diego Alumnae Chapter . Laurel was a collegiate member of AOII at UC, San Diego, and remains active as President in the San Diego Alumnae Chapter. Learn more about Alpha Omicron Pi.

Charity's Angels

Laurel volunteers her time with four other friends to form the group "Charity's Angels." The group helps to raise needed items for local San Diego groups. Donations are collected at social gatherings organized by Charity's Angels. Laurel helps provided needed artwork and maintains the Charity's Angels website for the group.

City of Hope

City of Hope is a non-profit medical group which provides care and does medical research. Laurel has donated her artwork to help with City of Hope fund raising efforts. She created a series of Wine Art images for a Wine Festival. Laurel is part of the San Diego Women's Council for the City of Hope. Learn more about the City of Hope.

DonnaBellas Angels

DonnaBellas Angels is non-profit group that came from Angels4Oncology. The mission of the group is to provide inspirational art to medical clinics, wellness centers, patients and caregivers to aid in the healing process. The motto of DonnaBellas Angels is "Medicine Heals the Body, Art Heals the Soul". Learn more about DonnaBellas Angels.

Share The Care

Share The Care is a non-profit children's dental health group which provides dental care and education to the community. Laurel helped create an arts and crafts manual for educators. She was recognized for her Share the Care volunteer efforts with being acknowledged as February 2003 Volunteer of the Month by the Chamber of San Diego County. Learn more about Share The Care.

San Diego Alumnae Panhellenic (SDAP)

SDAP consists of sorority alumnae women from the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC). The group helps to fundraise money to provide scholarships to San Diego highschool women who plan to attend four year colleges.
